About Racing & Safety Equipment Parts
Auto racing is an inherently dangerous sport. It should only be attempted on facilities set up for racing, where driver and spectator protection is in place. Inside the vehicle, most racing sanctioning bodies will have very specific requirements for driver safety, from helmets to fire-resistant suits, shoes and other clothing, to race seats, protective cages and roll bars, harness restraints, window nets, fire suppression systems, etc. For the driver's performance, there are many products produced: "cool suits," lap timers, data capture and feedback systems, video camera mounts and race radio systems.
